The premiere of Cirque Du Sonora is in the history books. Thank you to all of the families that came out to support their favorite nonprofit organizations. Thanks too to Sonora Subaru, the folks with the big hearts and the vision to sponsor this event, as well as Sierra Nonprofit Services, Tractor Supply, Star 92.7 FM, The Weekender, the fabulous artists, and of course the people in the dunk tank.

Free Family Fun For Great Causes in the Foothills
Get ready to hurry-hurry-hurry down to “Cirque du Sonora” with your family, when it takes place on one magical day, Sept. 11, 2010. Be ready to have an all-out terrific time, while you help over a dozen wonderful social causes in our community.
“Cirque du Sonora,” the Circus with a Purpose is unlike any event this region has seen. The experience will be one of the most unique, fun-filled- and memorable days ever. Fantastic entertainment onstage will feature acrobats, jugglers, clowns, magicians, and dancers from the Mother Lode and around the world.

The headline performance will be live music by Alma Melodiosa (now known as Alma) bringing their homegrown brand of latin/rock and reggae to our stage. In addition, guitarist Nick Lefler will be performing a solo act that infuses electronics into his classical style in a way that will enthrall you.
A “Midway” will featuring games operated by your favorite local charities and nonprofits, where you can win prizes, as you support the groups by playing.
JUST ADDED: for the youngest among us … Kids Entertainment Area. And you won’t want to miss the Tuolumne County Celebrity Dunking Tank.
Tickets aren’t needed, it’s open free to the public. That includes parking. Unbelievable? It’s magic! It’s Cirque du Sonora!
